Will there be a lot of homework?
In a word, yes. But ask the upperclassmen, while sometimes it seems like a lot of work, it’s also rewarding coming up with a completely original idea. Something no one has ever thought of before. It's nothing like reading a text book and remembering it just long enough for the test. This is serious.

Will I be working with partners or in groups?
First trimester students work alone while they get acclimated to the environment. After that, for some assignments you’ll work with a partner or be part of a team. Be prepared to work alone at least some of the time.

Should I have a job?
Classes are in the evening. So, you can have a job. Most students have one. However, this is a full-time program, so it’s wise to set things up so you can get by with as little work as possible. You’ll be plenty busy with your school assignments.

Is there anything to eat around here?
Yes, there are many restaurants in the area including Big 10, Decoy's, Mainstreet Bar & Grill, Boston Garden and a vast array of fast food restaurants. While all have good grub, Big Ten is the closest and has killer wings. There is also your kitchen. You should probably check there first.

What kind of school supplies should I buy?
First you have to decide if you’re going to settle with the 48-pack of crayons or splurge for the 96-pack so you can have the built-in sharpener. In addition, you’ll want some fresh Sharpie markers and paper. Lots and lots of paper.

What do students do for fun?
As a long-standing Brainco tradition, students adjourn to on of the local Bars after class and sing karoke. There is also a student group here at Brainco called ADDICT. They organize neat things like the Brainco Prom and an upcoming overnight lock-in at the school. Students are also into everything from comic books to B-movies to roller skating (not RollerBlading—skates with four wheels).
