AIGA/Aquent Salary Survey 2009
AIGA/Aquent Survey of Design Salaries 2009 is mailed to all AIGA professional members.
Compensation is reported in terms of three statistics: the 25th percentile, the median (or 50th percentile), and the 75th percentile. The 25th percentile represents that value which is greater than 25 percent of all values; the median that value greater than 50 percent of all values, and so on.

About the full survey
The AIGA|||Aquent Survey of Design Salaries is commissioned annually by AIGA, with the support of its partner, Aquent, AIGA's official sponsor for professional development, and in cooperation with Communication Arts magazine. The salary survey is part of a comprehensive program of AIGA activities developed to serve the professional designer with strategies for success as well as sources of inspiration. AIGA is the principal source of information on the design economy.
The AIGAAA|Aquent Survey of Design Salaries 2009 draws from the largest pool to date of designers and others allied with the profession nationwide, and includes responses from more than 9,000 design professionals. The AIGGA|Aquent survey is widely recognized as the most comprehensive annual survey of compensation data for the communication design profession in the United States.
